The professional preparation and ongoing development of teachers require teacher educators who are skilled professionals. These educators must deepen their understanding of environmental factors influencing education by critically examining theory, reflecting on practice, and conducting research. These factors shape the core educational processes, knowledge development, and classroom dynamics that impact learning. The two-year M.Ed. Spl.Ed. programe was started in 2022 with the generous donation of Smt. Sumatiben Rameshbhai Vadilal Mehta. The program is designed to address this need, promoting a deep understanding and reflection on teaching and learning processes that support the inclusion of children with disabilities, combining theoretical knowledge with hands-on practice.

Research methods and statistics are essential components of any Master's program. Whether M.Ed. Spl.Ed. graduates become educational managers, curriculum planners, or teacher educators, research remains a key aspect of their roles. The program's research component aims to produce reflective practitioners, capable managers, and professionals engaged in academic pursuits.
