Smt. Menaben Manilal Mehta School was built in 1984 with the aid of one of most the celebrated humanitarians of India, Shri Kirtilal Manilal Mehta. Itis the first English medium school of the Banaskantha district, and it is named afterthe donor's mother.
At the outset, this school was till the seventh grade, but in June 1991, the eighth grade was included after the establishment of the high school section in Vidyamandir. In addition to the regular subjects, which are taught practically in smart classrooms, this school offers Spoken English classes and foundation courses to help students perform exceptionally better as they grow. The foundation curriculum covers Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, English, Social Science, General Studies, Computer, and Individual Development. The students also get to choose from a variety of clubs to cultivate their hobbies.
It is located in the Gem & Jewellery National Relief Foundation Bhavan, Vidyamandir Campus, Taley Baug, Palanpur. It comprises of 425 students and 13 staff members.
The school hours are 07:10 a.m. to 01:10 p.m. from Monday to Friday, and 11:10 a.m. to 04:55 p.m. on Saturdays.
Parents can personally meet the teachers and the Principal on the third Saturday of every month.
