To reinforce the significance and importance of constitution the government of India declared 26th of November as Constitution Day on 19 November 2015 by a gazette notification in remembrance of the Father of Indian Constitution, Dr. B R Ambedkar. Constitution Day was celebrated in Vidyamandir Trust, Palanpur Managed D. D. Choksi College of Secondary Education and Vidyamandir English Medium B.Ed. College. The Assembly began with the Principal, addressing teacher’s trainees about the significance of the Constitution Day and the importance of being a Sovereign, Socialist, Secular, and Democratic and Republic country. On this occasion students presented PPTshowing, ThePreamble, importance of constitutions, sources of constitutions, fundamental rights and duties, Prepare charts on Human Rights, Education Acts, Women’s Acts and role playby the students for power and duties assigned bythe constitution. Lastly, the Vote of thanks was delivered by the faculty. The programme concluded with National Anthem.
