National Youth Day is observed in India on January 12th on the birthday of Swami Vivekanand in 1984 Government of India declared the day as National Youth Day and since then the event is celebrated every year. Swami Vivekanand was a great person who always believed in the youth power to lead and nourish the historical culture of the country.
D.D Choksi College of Secondary Education and Smt. S.P Kothari College of Secondary Education, Palanpur celebrated the National Youth Day 2021 on 12/01/2021in offline and online mode respectively. Program commenced with prayer song followed by power point presentation by Ms. Hetal Nai student- teacher of D.D Choksi College, based on the ideologies of Swami Vivekanand and its relevance in todays educational framework. Dr. Neelu G. Ghosh , Principal D.D. Choksi college addressed the student teachers on this occasion and said that every nation has an opportunity when maximum number of youth represents its demography and only this phase helps nation attend maximum prosperity.
A speech competition was organized inSmt. S.P Kothari College of Secondary Education . Students participated with enthusiasm. Krunali Gajjar won the first prize and Nikita Gadhavi and Ashok Khambu were the runners up.
