On Friday, October 2, 2020, on the day of Gandhi Jayanti, a program was held at Shashivan - Jahan Ara Baug to pay homage to Mahatma Gandhi and late Shirish Kumar Modi, Chairman of the Local Executive Committee of Vidyamandir Trust. On this occasion, the dignitaries paid homage to the statue of Gandhiji and to the picture of Shri Shirishkumar Modi who has recently passed away. Gandhiji's favorite hymns were presented by the music teachers of Vidyamandir in this program. The dignitaries present refreshed their memories with Shri Shirishkumar Modi. On this occasion, the family of Shri Shirishkumar Modi and officials of Vidyamandir Trust as well as eminent dignitaries of the city were present.
