Every year on June 21, the entire world celebrates International Yoga Day. This day marks the importance of Yoga, which is a means of gaining physical fitness and mental peace. Yoga is an integral part of India's rich culture which intends on uniting the body and the mind. This year, however, the celebrations were slightly different due to the solar eclipse falling on summer solstice as well as pandemic of COVID-19. International Yoga Day was celebrated by the student-teachers of D. D. Choksi College of Secondary Education and Smt. S. P. Kothari English Medium B.Ed. College along with faculty members in pandemic situation of COVID-19 staying at home.
