Being a motivational speaker himself, the Principal of our Smt. M.M. Mehta School, Mr. Rakesh Kanwar, conducted a training session for the students of Std 8. on March 15, 2022. It was on self-discipline, examination phobia, mental wellness, and positivity.
The seminar started by invoking the grace of God. After a brief welcome note, Mr. Kanwar began the session by asking the students to share their feelings regarding exams. After having a brief discussion, he emphasized the importance of self-discipline and perseverance to set and achieve goals in life.
He further talked about the 40/30/30 minutes rule for regular studies to develop healthy study habits and increase concentration. The importance of positive thinking and daily practice can boost self-confidence and turn us into good decision-makers, as explained by the speaker.
It was an interactive and fun-filled training session. Inspirational video clips enthralled the students. A soft and melodious musical background score made the entire atmosphere serene. About 140 students attended the session. They felt that the programme had enhanced their confidence and would certainly help them attain success in future by reducing their fear and anxiety for examinations.
To sum up, it was a well-thought-out workshop for motivating the students to understand themselves better.
