On July 9, 2022, we held a farewell ceremony in honour of one of our longest-serving employees, Shri L. J. Taral, who has worked with us for almost thirty-seven years. Our Shri D. D. Chokshi College of Secondary Education, where he had been serving, was beautifully adorned with bright flowers and colourful rangolis to greet him.
The event began with a song performed by the college choir, after which our guest of honour-fondly known as Taral Kaka-was welcomed with a garland. The programme anchor, then, reminisced about his contributions to the overall development of the college and presented a powerpoint presentation showcasing his entire journey with us. All of his colleagues also offered him a loving tribute, which overwhelmed him and all those who were present. In the end, on the verge of tears, when he took over the microphone, he expressed how much he would miss his work and his coworkers.
With a plethora of fond memories yet with a heavy heart, we wish him a happy retirement.
