The World Consumer Rights Day is observed annually on 15 March. All consumers need to realise their rights and understand when they are being cheated. More importantly, they must know when to raise an objection. On 15 March 2022, Tuesday, Shri D.D. Choksi College of Sec. Edu and Smt. S.P. Kothari Eng. Med. College of Sec. Edu. collaborated to educate their students on their rights and responsibilities as buyers.
The World Consumer Rights Day was inspired by the former US President, John F Kennedy, when he had shed light on the subject while speaking at the US Congress meet on 15 March 1962. The theme for World Consumer Rights Day 2022 is Fair Digital Finance.
The trainees were made to understand their rights by our august guests, Asst. Officer Grahak Suraksha, Mr.H.A Mir, Dr. Menan Mehta, and Mrs.Purnima Mehta.
