World Cancer Day is the one singular initiative under which the entire world can unite together in the fight against the global cancer epidemic. It takes place every year on 4 February. World Cancer Day aims to save millions of preventable deaths each year by raising awareness and education about cancer, and pressing governments and individuals across the world to take action against the disease. With this concern the student-teachers of D. D. Choksi College of Secondary Education and Smt. S. P. Kothari English Medium B.Ed. college, celebrated World Cancer Day on 4th February 2020. Dr. Himanshu Acharya, explained the student-teachers about the causes of cancer. He also explained about the insurance policies which are very much helpful for cancer patient. Dr. Neelu Ghosh, the principal of D. D. Choksi College of Secondary Education, explained about the prevention of cancer and side effects of “Chemo Therapy”.
