The Priyashi Viral Kothari Institute of English, managed by Vidyamandir Trust, Palanpur, organised a #WEARELIT workshop for the trust’s sweepers and gardeners to equip them with essential English skills. This initiative was part of the United Planet Student Exchange Programme, providing students with a global platform for collaboration. Middle school students from Smt. M.M. Mehta English Medium School and Shri Vinaymandir School (Gujarati medium) conducted the workshop, supported by trainees from Smt. S.P. Kothari College of Secondary Education through the National Service Scheme (NSS).

Aligned with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the session focused on practical English, helping participants greet others, introduce themselves, write their names and numbers, and understand key signs. Interactive activities such as mime and games ensured an engaging learning experience. The workshop reaffirmed that education extends beyond classrooms—empowering others with knowledge is a shared responsibility.
