Vidyamandir Trust, Palanpur, in collaboration with Techfest, IIT Bombay, successfully hosted a Techfest Zonal Workshop on 4th October 2025. Over 250 students from schools and colleges across North Gujarat participated in this interactive workshop on Robotics, Electronics, Coding, and Artificial Intelligence.

Prof. B.M. Patel (Government Polytechnic, Palanpur) encouraged students to think creatively and experiment beyond textbooks, while Shri Hiten Patel, Zonal Coordinator – Techfest IIT Bombay, guided them through competition insights and innovation opportunities.

A major attraction was a live RC Plane demonstration by Arya Gami (Std. 9), built under the mentorship of Shri Yuvrajsinh Rajput, RC Plane & Drone Expert. The workshop concluded with an impressive RC Plane flight and drone videography — a fitting symbol of innovation taking flight at Vidyamandir Trust.
