At a time when the country is celebrating 75years of independence, a Palanpur based educational institution will be celebrating 75 years of service on January 7-8, 2023. Vidyamandir Trust in Palanpur is well-known for its contributions to the upliftment of people in and around Palanpur and Banaskantha. Vidyamandir is not only concerned with students; its community initiatives are historic in nature.
As previously reported, the Vidyamandir Trust, Palanpur has entered its 75th year (1948-2023), and the highlight of the Diamond Jubilee celebrations will be a special two-day event in Palanpur on January 7th and 8th, 2023. The celebrations also coincide with the 100th anniversary of the establishment of Shree Jain Shishushala (1921-2021). The event's pre-celebration will begin on December 19, 2022, with 6000+ students painting and performing on various subjects.
Many well-known personalities will be in Palanpur to commemorate Vidyamandir's 75th anniversary. Shri Gautambhai Adani, Founder and CEO of Adani Group and a Banakantha native, will be the Chief Guest at the Main Event on Sunday, January 8. Several members of the Adani family have studied at VMT over the years. Shri Shaileshbhai J. Mehta, Founder, Ex-Chairman and CEO of Providian Financial Corporation, a Fortune 300 company and benefactor of the Shailesh J. Mehta School of Management at IIT Bombay, and Shri Janakbhai Dwarkadas, Senior Advocate, Bombay High Court and one of the most respected advocates in the country, will be among the guests of honour at the inaugurations of various new projects on January 7.
This jubilee is about more than just the institution; it is also about celebrating the accomplishments of students. As a result, Vidyamandir is extremely proud that two of Gujarat's most globally recognised technologists will be present on this occasion: Shri Pranav Mistry, renowned scientist and inventor, Founder and CEO of TWO - working on Artificial Reality, and Shri Mihir Shukla, CEO and Co-Founder of Automation Anywhere, a leader in Robotics Process Automation (RPA).
Vidyamandir has achieved an important milestone in its mission for better education via continuous improvement. Due to this journey, Palanpur developed into a medical hub, and numerous students were able to enrol in the top educational institutions of the nation and globe.
