Story of Vishnu, former student of Vidyamandir

Vishnubhai Vaghela, a former student of Vidyamandir trust Palanpur's Mamta Mandir and Vividhlakshi Vidyamandir schools, is the only Gujarati on the Indian International Football Team for the Blind. Vishnu received numerous calls and messages following Team India's fifth-place finish at the IBSA Blind Football World Grand Prix in Mexico. When congratulated by the Vidyamandir Trust, he said, Thank you for everything, I'm grateful to be a student of Vidyamandir, obviously I learned a lot from teachers and books from school, but after finishing primary education, I studied with so-called normal students, and that interaction and environment has made me who I am today.

Our society has preconceived notions about how a child should develop, but at Vidyamandir, we took a completely different approach," said the late Shri Suryakantbhai. Nobody could have foreseen the remarkable outcomes of that approach at the time, but the accomplishments of today's students underscore the significance of the path taken by forward-thinking individuals.

We congratulate Vishnu on his remarkable successes and anticipate seeing him at the pinnacle of his industry.
