Blood Donation Day was celebrated at Smt. M. M. Mehta English Medium School and Vinay Mandir on June 14, 2023! Our students came together to raise awareness about the importance of blood donation and express gratitude to the selfless blood donors who save lives.

The event commenced with a captivating drama performance by our talented students, showcasing the vital role of blood in our bodies. Through their powerful portrayal, they highlighted the significance of white cells, red cells, and platelets in maintaining our health. It was an engaging and educational experience for students in grades 6 to 8.

In addition, our students had the opportunity to witness blood cells under a microscope, which brought their learning to life. We were honored to have Mr. Prakashbhai Patel, a dedicated lab technician and Dr. Lukman Memon (Alumnus of Vidyamandir), as our special guest. Both the Experts shared valuable insights about the essential work performed by blood banks and the critical role they play in saving lives. They also enlightened our students about the procedure involved in donating blood, emphasizing the significance of this selfless act.
