Smt. Menaben Manilal Mehta Secondary & Higher Secondary School-Vidyamandir Trust, Palanpur

As Palanpur serves as the administrative headquarters of Banaskantha, many government employees relocate to this city from different states. Back in the day, the non-Gujaratis always found it tough to educate their children after immigrating. This dearth inspired Vidyamandir to accept the challenge of opening the first English Medium School in Palanpur and Banaskantha. Shri Kirtilal Manilal Mehta, a distinguished humanitarian and businessman of international repute, came forward to support this project and dedicated his contributions to his beloved mother, Smt. Menaben Manilal Mehta. In 2002, we added a Science Stream higher secondary section to our school with the benefaction of Shri Kantilal C. Kothari and his family. In 2007, they also helped us include the general streams.

Student Development

The students we have are teens on the verge of adulthood, and this metamorphic phase becomes quite taxing for most children. To help them stay healthy and focused, we strive to understand their anxieties and concerns through regular assessments and counselling. We firmly believe that academic performances highly depend on students’ sense of security and contentment.

Our Pride

In addition to our sports and fine arts facilities, we have an adroit faculty to help our students ace exams like JEE, NEET, CS, CLAT, and CA Foundation, and every year our batches set new records. With regular seminars, we guide them towards their dreams. We provide a formative and liberal education to develop our students’ confidence, talent, efficiency, character, social etiquette, and personality.
