Our Identity
Today, Vidyamandir has many institutions scattered all over Palanpur, but in the beginning, the name was only limited to our Gujarati medium secondary school, established in 1955-56. Gradually, it created such a profound influence on the education scenario in the vicinity that people began recognizing all the institutes of the Trust by the same name. This movement reached its culmination when the Trust renamed itself as Vidyamandir Trust, Palanpur.
Later, this school required some significant changes in its infrastructure, which became possible with the assistance of Shri Pravinbhai S. Kothari, Shri Piyushbhai S. Kothari & Shri Atulbhai S. Kothari in 2012. As the donors wished to dedicate their donation to their mother, the school building came to be known as Smt. Shantaben Shantilal Kothari Bhavan.
Shri Vividhlaxi Vidyamandir has consistently excelled in academic, sports, and cultural activities ever since it came into existence. Our enthusiastic and erudite educators strengthen our foundation.

Our Benefactor
Shri Keshavlal Maneklal Choksi was born in Palanpur. He lost his father when he was quite young, so he courageously came forward to support his family and developed his business single-handedly. Inspired by his great entrepreneurial skills, his children pioneered their own ventures in India and abroad. When the '10+2+3 System' of education was implemented in Gujarat in 1976, Shri Keshavlal Maneklal Choksi's family provided financial assistance to the Trust to add a higher secondary section to the school in the same year.
Our Ascent
Today, Shri Keshavlal Maneklal Choksi Higher Secondary School is one of the top Gujarati-medium schools in the state. Between 1998-99, our school was given a grant of Rs.40,000/-for its countless accomplishments by the Gujarat Government. We offer all streams of education with the help of some of the finest faculties in the field. With the introduction of inclusive education, we have fulfilled all the requirements of special education as well.
What We Offer
Our science department is renowned for its record-breaking JEE and NEET results every year. For our general stream students, we have classes for CS, CA Foundation, logical and reasoning abilities, and general knowledge to prepare them for entrance or competitive exams. The alumni of Vidyamandir include some of the best chartered accountants, business executives, advocates, lawyers, and educators in the country. Although our medium of instruction is Gujarati, we have a meticulously designed spoken English course for every standard. The excellence of our institution is not only due to its academic success. Our priority towards our students' physical and mental health and their mindset makes us stand out. As the students in this section are in their late teens, our focus is more on cultivating a conscientious future generation.
