This was the third project undertaken by the Shri Kanubhai Mehta Smarak Fund in 1994. Supporting those who long for an education had always been Shri Kanubhai Mehta’s dream. Banaskantha has a lot of students who do not come from financially stable families. Every year, Vidyamandir invites applications from all over the district to offer this scholarship to those who want to pursue a career in engineering or medical. These two fields have some of the most expensive courses that remain inaccessible to most students, and that is where this organisation steps in. Once the applications are received, the centre sifts through them to find the most underprivileged students and calls them for a personal interview.
