History
Our dream of cultivating toddlers with a different approach would not have seen its dawn if it were not for Smt. Kesarben Amritlal Zaveri, Smt. Lilaben Surajmal Mehta, and Smt. Lilavatiben Gafurchand Mehta, who lent us a helping hand and generously donated towards the establishment of Shri Jain Balmandir on August 16, 1951. This was where it all began.
Re-establishment
In 1958, its exterior was restructured to resemble a Jain pagoda, reflecting our heritage and principles. Pujya Vinoba Bhaveji and Pujya Ravishankar Maharaj inaugurated this new building at Taleybaug Campus on December 31, 1958.
Burden-Free Education
The Shri Jain Balmandir is a Gujarati-medium nursery and kindergarten that strongly believes in educating children through activities that enrich minds and souls. Our dollhouse, sand and water play areas, library, and multimedia room facilitate the Pragna Abhigam-based syllabi we have designed for our students.
