A school is not made up of bricks and stones. It is made up of the teachers who inspire the students to conquer new heights, who are themselves an example of ideal living and who lovingly introduce new topics into the hearts and minds of the students so that knowledge doesn’t seem to be burdensome to the students.

And Vidyamandir Trust has been fortunate enough to have teachers devoted to teaching and to the well-being of the students. But to ensure the flow of good teachers not only for the Trust managed schools but also for other schools in the district and also in the state, the Trust has set-up Teachers Training Institutes.

These Teachers training colleges cater to the ever growing demand for quality teachers from Pre-Primary to Primary, Secondary and Higher Secondary section as well as of the special schools for the differently able students.

The trainee teachers at our PTC and B. Ed. Colleges are provided hands-on training at the trust-run schools. The trainee teachers get a chance to hone their skills in teaching by observing our veteran teachers in the classrooms and also by delivering demo lectures to the students.

The Pre-Primary trainee teachers also get a full time experience of handling the toddlers by assisting the regular teachers at the five trust-run Kindergartens.

The College of Special Education to the Visually Impaired as well as to the Hearing Impaired prepares teachers to teach in special schools for the differently able students.

The teachers are trained in computers and spoken English so that when they face an interview they don’t lack in these very essential skills.
